Lovely place for a meal... good for families, couples or dining alone. Cosy and tasty!
This is one pf the most outstang places to stay in Australia or New Zealand for the price and the amenities. Such a lovely, tasteful makeover since I last was here in March 2010.Close second place to Old Bones Backpack Lodge in Omaru in NZ which is out of this world being on a remote coastline.
Clean comfortably rooms. Good communal showers. Very steep stairs and curving passages. Good kitchen. Downstairs popular with locals so can be crowded.
We enjoyed our overnight stay. Lovely warm room and very new bathroom made it very comfortable. We had our dinner at the hotel restaurant and were very happy with our meals.
Was heading back to Launceston from a cold day hiking at Cradle Mountain... this hotel was perfect! Fireplaces, top quality meals, kid friendly and fantastic service... even coffee was great! Thank you, we will be returning.
